BLOOMINGTON, IN, January 19, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lorena Martin, Dog Groomer for Whitehall Animal Country Club LLC, has been recognized as a VIP Member by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in pet grooming.

Ms. Martin has spent the last nine years as a dog groomer for Whitehall Animal Country Club LLC, an all-breed boarding and grooming facility for dogs and cats. An expert pet groomer, she specializes in grooming shih tzus, Malteses, Labrador retrievers, St. Bernards, golden doodles, collies, shelties, and poodles. While she focuses on lap dogs and fancy breeds, she will groom other pets by special request. Whitehall Animal Country Club LLC can board 50 dogs and 19 cats at a time.

Though Ms. Martin had a long-standing interest in pet grooming, the highlight of her career was rescuing Casey and Jordi, a pair of golden retrievers. She attributes her success to her hard work, love for dogs and cats, and the support she received from her mentor, Kitty Pritchard, and her loving husband, Sid Martin. She is the proud grandmother of Anna, Brooklyn, Sylas and Charlie.

Ms. Martin holds a certification from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She is a member of the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, National Dog Groomers Association of America, National Cat Groomers Institute of America, and Pet Care Services Association. In the years to come, she hopes to expand her pet grooming center and recruit more employees to execute the business successfully.
