PHUKET, THAILAND, September 02, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Visitors to Phuket in October will be able to enjoy a performance by some top comedians from the UK at the Phuket Punchline Comedy Club.
 
On October 19th, the venue will play host to a show that includes performances from comics including Gordon Southern, Ian Coppinger and Andre King.
 
Experienced stand-up Southern has been in high demand since the 1990s and was the winner of a Time Out Comedy award in 1995, while Irish funnyman Coppinger is the co-founder of the Dublin Comedy Improv.
 
Meanwhile, New Zealander King is a veteran of the Kiwi comedy circuit and also has experience as a professional magician.
 
More comedians and ticket prices for the event will be revealed at a later date, with the organisers confirming that proceedings will kick off at 20:30 local time, a half-hour after doors open.
 
The Punchline Comedy Club has been promoting comedy in Asia and the Far East since 1994 and offers a platform for many up-and-coming comics to bolster their careers.
 
Past performers at the venue include the likes of Ricky Grover, Stephen Grant, Rhod Gilbert and Bob Mills.
