Hotels-London.co.uk - Camden Fringe Continues to Rival its Edinburgh Counterpart
Event gives performers of all experience levels the chance to showcase their act.

LONDON, ENGLAND, July 21, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Set up by Zena Barrie and Michelle Flower in 2006, the Camden Fringe has been running every year since throughout August, this year running from the 1st-28th.

The festival takes place in the North London borough of Camden, and was set up to allow would-be performers the chance to try out their stuff in a less daunting and financially expensive setting than the illustrious Edinburgh Fringe.

In 2010, 250 acts put on 650 shows acorss 9 venues, a testament to the demand there now is for this much-loved festival.

Acts include comedy, dance, theatre, music and opera, with ticket prices ranging from GBP6-10 per event. Most acts last for one hour.
