A diverse range of live music will be played over a 12-hour period at this year's Bangkok Music Marathon.

BANGKOK, THAILAND, July 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Impact Arena is set to host the Bangkok Music Marathon 2 in September, following the success of the event in 2010.
 
Modern Dog, Tattoo Colour, Slot Machine, The Mousses, Cocktail, The Richman Toy, Lipta and Paradox are just some of the bands due to play at the occasion this year.
 
Taking place on September 10th from 12:00 local time, the music will go on for 12 hours and several other venues around the city are expected to host gigs to complement proceedings.
 
Several of the bands on the bill, such as Slot Machine and Paradox, also played at the 2010 edition of the music marathon, when the organisers set up a relaxation zone outside the Impact Arena for exhausted revellers to recharge their batteries before enjoying more great live music.
 
There will be plenty of variety in terms of genres, with acts ranging from mainstream pop and rock to underground hip-hop and jazz.
 
Tickets for the concert start from 500 baht (GBP10.30). The doors will open 30 minutes before the first band begins.
