A castle near Tenby is showing a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

TENBY, ENGLAND, July 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- An unforgettable production of A Midsummer Night's Dream could be waiting for guests booked in at one of the stunning hotels Tenby has to offer.

The Pembrokeshire area is renowned for its natural beauty and this show combines this factor with the sublime comedy of William Shakespeare by performing the play outdoors.

It is being held on August 24th at Picton Castle, which is the stunning and historic home of the Phillips family, near Rhos in Haverfordwest.

The property is used for all manner of events thanks to its picturesque building and 40 acres of gardens, with the production of A Midsummer Night's Dream to be held on the tennis lawn.

It is not just the brilliant theatre of the bard that can be enjoyed at this spectacular show by Chapterhouse Productions, since people can tuck into some tasty food before or during the play.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own picnics for the performance, but paninis are sold on-site or a table at the venue's restaurant can be booked for a delicious pre-performance treat.

Tickets are priced at GBP12 for adults, though families can pay GBP35 for a group pass and students are offered the reduced rate of GBP8.

Gates open at 18:30 BST, with the show set to kick off at 19:30.
