A run of The Graduate will get underway in Perth next month.


PERTH, AUSTRALIA, July 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- An adaptation of iconic 1960s movie The Graduate is coming to His Majesty's Theatre in Perth towards the end of next month.

Having taken London, Toronto and Broadway by storm, the show - which stars former model and ex-partner of Mick Jagger Jerry Hall - will begin its run at the Maj on August 26th 2010.

Described by critics as a "clever and silky-smooth production", The Graduate is sure to cause a surge in the number of people booking a stay at some of the 5 star hotels Perth has to offer.

The story follows the life of 20-year-old Benjamin Braddock, who is tipped to make his parents proud by achieving great things in his life - until he finds himself getting seduced by sexy and sophisticated older woman Mrs Robinson, played by Hall.

Due to its occasionally racy content, the show is only recommended for those aged 15 or over.

Perth hotels guests have the chance to catch a performance on a number of dates between the opening night and September 5th.

Tickets start at A$89.90 with a A$5 discount for concessions and are selling out quickly, so anyone keen to attend should reserve their seats as soon as possible.

Start times vary, with the opening night getting underway at 20:00 local time.
