Cheeky Cornish comedian Jethro will be in Bournemouth this summer for a show.


BOURNEMOUTH, ENGLAND, July 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Celebrated funnyman Jethro will be stopping off in Bournemouth as part of his latest tour, which should delight plenty of comedy enthusiasts.

The comedian, whose real name is Geoff Rowe, will be entertaining crowds at the Pavilion Theatre on Westover Road, which is easily reached from most Bournemouth hotels.

Taking place on August 16th, it is probably best to leave the kids at home for this gig, as the veteran Cornish performer's jokes can be a little blue.

"With his very own irreverent style of delivery, Jethro has got to be one of the cheekiest comedians around and continues to sell out yet another tour with his mischievous repertoire of adult material," remarked the organisers.

Fans of his act will no doubt be looking forward to hearing all about what characters Slipalong Trevaskis, Bill Pedureare and Denzel Penberthy have been up to.

There are plenty of major events taking place at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) and Pavilion, including a gig by the Pet Shop Boys, comedy from Jimmy Carr and the unique Dinosaurs Unleashed spectacle.

Tickets for Jethro's performance cost GBP18 and are available online or at the box office, with the organisers advising people to get to the Pavilion an hour before the performance begins so they have time to park and find their seat.
