Comic book fans and anyone with an interest in graphic animation may want to head to Italy this spring as Torino Comics & Games is set to take place.

Running from April 9th to 11th, guests at hotels in Turin can jump on a train or tram-bus to Lingotto Fiere and browse through a plethora of comic book stands, meet authors of well-known titles and take part in a number of competitions.

Last year, the event broke its record for the number of people coming through its doors, with 15,488 attendees recorded over the course of the weekend.

The 2010 festival will be open from 09:30 to 19:30 (local time) and costs EUR8 to get in.
